ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to attend all classes. Students may have only one excused absence. The student must make up any work missed during his/her absence. Any unexcused absence will result in the student being dropped from the program.
TARDINESS: Being late to class will not be tolerated. Being tardy three times equals one unexcused absence; one unexcused absence the student will be dropped from the program. No class cuts are excused.
WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE: Students finding it necessary to withdraw from their courses of study should contact the office in writing. Failure to submit lesson assignment or to attend classes does not constitute withdrawal. When applicant signs their application forms, they are signing a binding contract with TLT H.O.P.E. .
CLASS PARTICIPATION: Students are expected to participate in class discussions and complete homework assignments in workbook. Students should not engage in any activity that would distract the other students or teachers from the lesson. Any distraction that cannot be resolved, the student will be asked to leave.
GRADING: Each student will be graded on his/her work, all completed class assignments, class participation, and one written paper on "What I Learned in Transforming Lives Through H.O.P.E.".
TECHNOLOGY: Computers will only be used for work in class. No Personal use! Web surfing is prohibited.
