Greetings,
My name is John E. Mickel, Jr., Founder and President of TLT H.O.P.E – Transforming Lives Through Helping Others Prepare for Employment. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization whose sole mission is to help ex-offenders transform their lives.

Over the last year and a half, we have ministered to over 23 residents who needed help in moving back into society. We have provided a temporary home for these men – a clean and safe place to live and healthy food. We have worked with them to find employment and helped them develop plans for future independence.
In addition to providing a place where the physical needs of these men can be met, we provide them with a nourishing spiritual environment. A number of our residents started their faith journeys with the Lord while still in prison. Others have come to know Him during their stay with us. Our formal service on Sunday provides a place for them to continue their walks of faith and commitment to recovery. All participate actively in the Sunday service – some lifting beautiful voices in praise, others accompanying the hymns on guitar, other reading scripture or sharing testimonials.

While our services are joyous, our only space for them now is in our day room/kitchen, a small area not really adequate for our needs. We would like to change that by adding a dedicated chapel for our resident community. We have considered a number of options.
It seems that even the lowest priced building that will meet our needs will cost $30,000.
WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN BUILD A CHAPEL
